The new Welphi release is out!

You asked, we delivered!

We are excited to announce that new version of Welphi is now live!

As we get more and more feedback from our users and as new projects are conducted and published, we keep on developing new feature and trying to tailor Welphi to your needs.

In this release, we tried to focus on features that make Welphi more powerful and close to Delphi processes that companies are used to.
To achieve this, we have redesigned the Round details page and enabled the addition of more questionnaire page types.

It is now possible to have customized pages to collect data such as demographics, to present users with instructions and messages and finally, to create open rounds were participants can validate an initial list of elements (indicators, criteria, policies, etc.) and propose the addition and/or removal of some elements.

Here is a detailed list of all the changes you will see on the app:

  • The Round details page

To give Welphi users the ability to add more questionnaire pages to each process round, we have redesigned the “round details” screen (image 1) by placing a list off all questionnaire pages that compose each round on the left side (image 2). This list gives you a clear overview of all pages included in your round making it easier to set everything up.

By default, when you create a new round, Welphi  will always load a “Welcome message” page, a Closed Delphi” page (the actual Delphi questionnaire page) and a “Thank you” page, just like you had on the last version of Welphi.

From this updated version on, you can now add additional pages to your round by selecting its type on the drop-down button at the top (image 3). See the next section, below for details about the new page types.

You can also reorder each round’s questionnaire pages just by dragging and dropping them or change its name by clicking on the pencil-shaped button next to the page name (images 4a and 4b).

The access to the round statistics, which used to be accessible by a rectangle shaped box, can now be made by clicking the small pie-chart-shaped button next to the page name on the pages list (image 5).

Note: If you currently own a “BASIC” subscription (more details at https://www.welphi.com/pricing.html), then you will not be able to add more pages to your round. In this case, the only changes you will see on this new version of the platform are the new design of the “Round details” screen and the new access to the round statistics.

Questionnaire page types

In the old version of Welphi you had only 3 page types available and preloaded by default: a “Welcome page, a “Closed Delphi page and a Thank you page. In this new version you can not only customize the old page types but also add and customize new ones. Below you can find a detailed explanation of each.

Welcome page

Just like the old version, Welphi will automatically load a “Welcome” page as the first page of your questionnaire. This is where you can customize a message to welcome the participants and instruct them about the study taking place. This page must always be the first page in your round.

Closed Delphi page

In the Closed Delphi page the participants can see a table with the elements to be analyzed and a user-defined answer scale. In this page, you can customize the question/sentence that will be shown to the participants. The answer scale can still be edited on the “Process details” page.

Thank you page

Welphi will automatically load a “Thank you” page as the last page of your questionnaire. This is where you can customize a message to thank the participants for their contributions and instruct them about future rounds. This page must always be the last page of your round.

Survey page

One of the main additions to the Welphi toolbox are the Survey pages that you can now add to your questionnaire. This is a fully customizable page that you can create from scratch to collect information like demographics or any other information you need. You can add titles, texts, open answer questions or closed answer questions. You can add as many such blocks as you need. To do so, you just have to drag a block from the list and drop it in your page (see image 6a). Click Save and preview to see how the page will show up to the participants (image 6b).

Open Delphi page

Another exiting new page type is the Open Delphi page. Here you can set an initial list of elements (criteria, indicators, objectives, etc.) and ask your participants to review and, if they think something is missing, add new elements (see image 7). The participants will also be able to propose changes to the elements on the list or even its removal.

Informed consent page

A simple yet essential new page type is the Informed consent page. You will be able to include and customize an informed consent page in your round which participants will have to accept to proceed with questionnaire.

We hope you enjoy all these new features!
Just let as know should you need further details and we are happy to demo them to you and your team.
